Native Milfoil & Water Marigold in Paige Brook

Patrolled the western half of Paige Brook on Thursday morning (8/8). Found a small patch of native milfoil (see photo below) and did a cutting to make sure there were only 2 opposing feather-like leaves.


Also saw some water marigold in the area where I normally find it each year (see photo below). I did not take a cutting as it was a bit too deep but will continue to watch as the season progresses.
